Anna Keyter |

Online Therapy

New Zealand

Online therapy accreditations safeguard you from unqualified counsellors.  Anna started Online Therapy in New Zealand because she identified the need for safe online counselling resulting from a skills shortage of therapists.  Anna is currently registered with Gestalt Australia New Zealand (GANZ) and as a provisional counsellor at the New Zealand Association for counsellors.  Furthermore, Anna also provided volunteer services for a women’s organisation as a mentor for a positive change workshop.  One of Anna’s passions is doing group work and she is running group therapy sessions using various modalities.

International Experience

In South Africa, Anna was registered as psychologist and counsellor.  She managed a practice as a counsellor assisting adults and adolescents.  At Childline Gauteng and Nazareth House, Anna provided Play Therapy to vulnerable and abused children and survivors of trauma.  Her role included therapeutic interventions including psychological assessments and personality profiling. During sessions, Anna developed individualised treatment plans and applied relevant best practices during individual, group and family therapy.

As a research psychologist, Anna also provided supervision, guidance and training to counselling interns. As Head of Department at Childline Gauteng, she conducted wellness research on Mental Health Workers who continuously dealt with secondary trauma, to find out how they coped. The outcome would inform organisational policy and guide psycho-education programmes.
